What's in my makeup bag?

I'm going to be very honest with you : my makeup kit gets treated like royalty.
I give it so much TLC and it's truly immaculate which is just the way I like it.
I treat it the same way someone would treat a brand new Mercedes that they worked their butt off to get.
Funnily enough though in contrast, my own makeup bag leaves a tad to be desired.
Like it's fine but it doesn't compare, not even a teeny weeny bit to my kit.
But on the other hand, it's functional and gets thrown around alot so I suppose it's not all that bad (but note how I haven't included any pictures of it, how suspect!).

Anyway here are a few of my favourite products that I use on a daily basis.

Yves Saint-Laurent Le Teint Touche Eclat foundation.

This has been a staple in my makeup bag since it was released and I can't recommend it enough.
The coverage is light to medium and it makes your skin look really healthy and fresh.
A bottle of this stuff will cost you around €38 but it's well worth it.
The only bad thing?
There are a ton of different shades available which is great and all but it can be hard to find the right one for you.
But wait there is a simple solution!
If you're not sure, YSL counters will happily give you a 7-day sample so you can be sure before you hand over the food money for the week.

Clarins Instant Concealer.

A good concealer should be able to tone down any discolouration/redness in the skin as well as hiding the tell-tale signs of a late night and a bit of over indulgence.
This one ticks all those boxes.
It has a great liquid texture which is perfect for using around the eye area.
I'd recommend using a small amount both under the eye as well as across the upper eyelid.
Also it may only be a small tube but man do you get your moneys worth.
As far as I remember it sells for around €22 and you will easily get a year+ out of each tube.

Barry M White Kohl Eye Pencil.

I've literally been using this eye pencil for as long back as I can remember.
I've always had a thing for putting white eye liner on the waterline of my eyes as it really makes them stand out and appear bigger which can never be a bad thing.
Also if you're knackered, it will hide any redness which is a huge plus!
One of these pencils would literally last me around a year providing I don't lose it and Boots sell them for less than €5.
Now that's a number I can appreciate.
I've tried lots of other luxury branded white pencils but always come back to Barry M.
If it ain't broke......

Stila "In the Know" Eyeshadow Palette.

Now this is an eyeshadow palette you should be really excited for.
All matte shadows, a mixture of warm and cool shades to suit different skin tones and a selection of nude and darker tones.
They're also some great shades to use on your brows in it so it's a true all-rounder.
What more could you want?
It's cheap too you say?
At less than €30, you would find it very difficult to find something better.
I frickin' love this palette and I use it every single day.
The colour selection is just perfect and it's a palette I will continue to repurchase.

Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics Lip Tar in "Trollop".

OCC are an amazing American brand that are Vegan which means they don't test their products on animals as well as not using any ingredients that derive from animals.
They also have some of the most colourful products on the market and that's what their known for.
Their products are so colourful in fact that a lot of the other makeup brands are doing their best to try to duplicate their products.
They can only but try!
Anyways for me their Lip Tars are their real stand-out products and they're available in pretty much every shade you can think of from all the primary colours to subtle natural shades.
One of my favourites is called "Trollop" and it's a warm shade of pink/peach.
I absolutely love it and wear it most days without fail.
The Lip Tars are long lasting and to top it all off, they smell minty too!

"Rimmel Exaggerate Eye liner"

Liquid liner has been a staple for me since I was around 14.
I use it every day and I always say to people that if you ever see me without it, presume that I'm really sick or something really awful has happened!
Liquid liner can be a tricky one to get right and it takes a ton of practise.
But get it right my friend and you can create wonders.
You can literally transform your eye shape into whatever you fancy which is what I love doing and I always go for a flick/cat eye.
This liner sells for around €8 and will last you a few months.

So that's some of what is hiding in my makeup bag right now.
What products do you like to use?
