Hey all,
I hope you're all having a great day and sending you all lots of positive vibes.
Today I'm chatting about one of my favourite things ever......GLITTER!!
Not many products can contend with glitter and there's nothing quite like a hint of sparkle.
So now to break it down for you guys!
You should never spend alot of money on glitter!
Whether you buy it in an Arts and Crafts shop or in Makeup Forever, it's basically the same product.
Some super cheap glitters can stain their colour on to your skin but it's not all that common.
If you're looking for gems or rhinestones, I would not recommend buying super expensive ones.
A few years ago, I bought two small jars of gems in Makeup Forever and they cost €15 each!
Absolutely ridiculous carry on and it's a mistake I've never made since.
Again, you can get these super cheap either on the Internet, in a fabric shop or in an Arts and Crafts shop .
For applying glitter, there are a few things that I like to use.
My favourite product would be Glitter Glue from Ben Nye.
It's super easy to use, comes in a good sized container and it's one of my favourite go-to products.
Available from www.preciousaboutmakeup.com.
In a tight spot there are a few other things you could use:
Lip gloss/Elizabeth Arden 8HR cream.
Both will work fine to stick glitter on to skin.
After a while, it can crease in the socket line because they are quite sticky but in a tight spot they are fine.
DUO Glue (Eyelash glue)
This glue works really well if you're doing statement glitter piece on the face..
It can be a bit more tricky to get off so just be very careful if you are using it particularly working around the mouth and eyes.
So guys don't be afraid of glitter whether it be for a photoshoot or on a daily basis.
If you're too scared to do a full glitter statement eye, why don't not use a small amount of glitter as a highlight on the inner corner of your eyes.
