I wanted to share a shoot that I worked on recently with some wonderful people.
The shoot was put together by Photographer & Hair Extraordinare Joseph Jude aka Joe McGivern.
Joe is just awesome to work with and I love his style(and his sense of humor ain't so bad either).
Our model was the beautiful Iseult (rhymes with sea salt) from Morgan the Agency who I was delighted to get to work with.
Below is one of the key beauty shots from the shoot.
The makeup look was a bit grunge whilst being fresh at the same time.
A hint of irony in that statement I know but it's true.
As with every look, I wanted to keep the skin as fresh and naturally beautiful as possible.
Once you get to the point where you can see the makeup sitting on top of the skin, you have gone a step to far.
For the skin I used a mix of Face & Body and a skin serum buffed on with a soft brush.
Skin is everything and I always say if I had an hour to do a look, 45mins would be spent getting the skin perfect.
Around the eye area I used a mix of a liquid concealer and an illuminator.
Again I blended the product using a soft eyeshadow brush and built it up very gradually.
The rest of the look was really based around the eyes which I wanted to be strong but not too dark.
On the upper eye lid I used a deep metallic purple cream product applied all the way up to the brow.
The lower lids were adorned with a wine coloured cream blusher just under the lash line.
Blusher on the eyes????
I know, I'm about as wild as they come.
Overall I think it's a great shot and the fact that Iseult is wearing my faux fur coat in this shot makes it all the better.
