L'Occitane were one of my favourite skincare brands of last year so I was really excited when I heard about their latest Shea Butter skincare range.
I didn't know but L'Occitane were one of the first cosmetic companies to start using Shea Butter in their skincare products in the 1980's.

Shea Butter is a fat extracted from the nut of the African Shea Tree and as well as being used in cosmetics, it's also used in cooking in Africa (random bit of trivia for ya should you ever need it for a pub quiz).
Legend has it that apparently our girl Cleopatra used to use Shea Butter on her mug so if it was good enough for her........
