Training update and how weightlifting has changed and possibly saved my life!


In August of 2013, my boyfriend and I joined a gym.
Nothing strange about that I know.
It was just one of those things that you feel you have to do so we did.
Little did I know how much it would change my life.


The main thing we're programmed or conditioned to think is that you're supposed to go to the gym to lose weight.
I've never been overweight but I've always felt bigger than other women because of my height and ridiculous chest size.
When I first started training, I really had no idea what I wanted to do and I didn't have any particular goals.
That meant that I'd happily miss a few days, not pay attention to what I was eating and I just generally felt that I was in some type of weird limbo.
Fast forward a year and a bit and I've truly found my focus which is weightlifting.
I never thought I would get into something like that but it's changed me in so many ways.
