Well to start off I want to make something very clear:
I don't believe in tearing people apart because of their outfit choice.
I think it would make me less of a person and as well as being totally immature.
Instead I prefer to focus on what the person is like as....well a person.
I think that your actions and words are what defines you, not what pieces of fabric you decide to put on your body.

With that said, I've a real appreciation for people who have great style and that my friend does not have a specific label or a price tag.
Below are a few of my favourite looks from the Met Gala 2014 where great style was in abundance and beautifully accessorised.
Dita Von Teese wearing a Zac Posen gown.
This dress couldn't possibly be anymore perfect for Dita and if for some strange Disney-esque reason she suddenly transformed into a dress, I'm pretty sure it would look just like this one.
It suits her style perfectly and possesses nearly as much elegance as she does......nearly I said!
I've always found Dita to be such a timeless beauty and this look reminds me of a vintage Balenciaga or Dior gown.
Johnny Depp and Amber Heard wearing a Giambattista Valli Haute Couture gown.
Johnny Depp would really struggle to put a foot wrong and yes I guess you could say I'm a bit of a fan!
Well, I thought I was just a normal fan until I saw a video of him playing a gig back in 2010 with none other than Eddie Vedder of Pearl Jam and then my admiration was kicked up a notch!
Well maybe two notches!
Anyways I absolutely love this 1920's style suit and particularly the pocket watch/chain detail and those kickass shoes.

I've always found Karen Elson's beauty to be a bit otherworldly.
She has an inner beauty that comes through in all of her work and I just think she's awesome!

She's the type of person you'd love to just stare at for a while if it didn't make you seem like a bit of a stalker.
She looks amazing in this Zac Posen gown and she's living proof that you should embrace your natural skin tone because it's usually the one that suits you the best.
Karolina Kurkova in a Marchesa gown.
This gown is perfection.
I really can't say anything else about it.
It is superbly designed and executed by Marchesa and it's the kind of gown you would see in a dream or in a Disney movie.
The only two bad things about it?
1: How did she sit down?
2 : How did she use the bathroom?
I guess we'll never know!
