Eyelash curlers are one of those things that brighten up my mornings.
Easily pleased I know!
Easily pleased I know!
I use them on myself every day and also on the majority all of my clients.
Alot of people are a bit scared of them and to be honest, I'm not at all surprised.
Do you suffer from the fear?
History lesson:
When I was a teenager, I used to use a metal eyelash curlers like the one below.
The only problem was that I wasn't totally satisfied with the results it gave me.
So using my teenage initiative I then got a hairdryer similar to the one below.
When you put these two together, I'm sure you can guess that it didn't end entirely well.
I continued to heat up my eyelash curler with a hairdryer before I used it on my lashes for a really long time.
Couple of years probably.
Until one day when I heated the curler up for too long and the inevitable happened.
I singed the majority of my lashes and burnt my eyelids to bits.
What a legend I know.
What a legend I know.
Beauty is pain right?
I have no idea where I even got the idea to do it and I'm surprised I didn't burn my eye out in the process.
Anyways, introducing you to a slightly easier and less hazardous alternative from Japonesque.
I know it kind of looks like something you would keep contraceptive pills in but trust me, it's amazing.
It truly is one of the best eyelash curlers I have tried and it's super easy (and safe) to use despite its appearance.
The majority of eyelash curler tend to just curl your lashes straight upwards which doesn't look that natural.
You know that "I just opened the hot oven" look?
Well, this bad boy curls your lashes up and out at the same time as it curls your lashes in two different places.
Happy days.
Whats even better is Japonesque offer you free refill pads for this curler so you will get years out of it.
You can buy these online for about $16 and they have also released it in pink in aid of Breast Cancer research.
