I find it very difficult to express exactly how a well put together magazine makes me feel.
I love nothing more than a sit down with a coffee and some good eye candy.
There is something so fantastical about fashion magazines because through an editorial, the reader can be brought to another place where there are no rules or limits.
Fashion editorials can be subtle, soft and demure but they can also be crude, harsh and dominating.
I've said it before and I'll say it again :
An excellent editorial has the power to stick with the reader for a lifetime.
I can so vividly remember editorials from years back that I fell in love with and that will continue to stay with me until I lose my mind (although I think the process has already begun).
I recently picked up the Winter issue of Porter magazine and just look at that cover!
The highlight in this issue, for me, is the editorial and cover shoot with the legendary Christy Turlington.
If she was anymore beautiful I think she's magically combust into some type of unicorn creature.
In a time where the average age for fashion models is around the mid-teens, it's so wonderful to have this magnificent woman showcased for the world to enjoy.
She has just gotten better with time and she's even more beautiful now than she was 20 years ago.
The crew did such an amazing job on this shoot.
