So I'm very excited because this Thursday I'm booked in for a new piece by Artist Kris Barnas.
Kris is based in Wildcat Tattoo in the Stephens Green Shopping Centre Dublin and you can check out some of his work on the link below.
This will be my third tattoo with Kris and I'm really looking forward to it.
I got Kris to design me a piece to memoralize my dog Fred who recently passed away.
I'd had Fred since I was 8years old and the the fact that he lived to be 18.5 is pretty amazing.
All of my tattoos in one way or another tell the story of my life so far and the things I hold dear.
I was planning one for Fred even before he passed away so with my Birthday coming up this week, it seemed like the perfect time to get in touch with Kris.
For the design, I didn't want anything too obvious like a paw print or a portrait.
I think they make really nice tattoos but it just didn't feel right for me.
Instead I decided on something a bit different and super colourful to make it a happy tattoo instead of a sad one.
It mightn't make sense to other people but tattoo's are
such a personal expression that they don't need to.
