In life very few things make me as happy as jewellery does.
I don't mean that in a Cartier, Pandora or a Tiffany kind of way.
Quite the opposite actually.

I mean it in a perspex, plastic, over sized, unique, vintage, 1980's tacky awesome kind of way.
I've never looked at an insanely large pair of earrings and thought "hmmm maybe they're a little bit too much!".
Instead I fall in love with them, buy multiple pairs and live happily ever after.
This leads me on to one of my new favourite brands, Dirty Rotten Rags.
I first discovered them through Holly Shortall when she posted a picture on Facebook of one of her purchases from them.
My heart skipped a bit, I quickly got on the Google train and the rest is happy happy history.

Dirty Rotten Rags are an Independent brand based from London that not only sell killer jewellery and accessories but they also customise vintage pieces to give them a modern and totally original look.

Anyways below are the "Dripping Shanel" earrings I bought off them a few weeks back and man are they sweet!
One pair wasn't quite enough so I had to spring for a second one.

I discovered that they kind of looked like cartoon eyes so I got creative with a Ben Nye liner and made a little face.
