A few months back, I met with photographer Brian McNamara and we ran though some ideas for a test shoot.
Brian and I have worked together alot building up our portfolios so it was "great to get the band back together" so to speak.
Lots of different things can up but we both agreed that we really wanted to create some strong black and white images.
For our model, Maria B. from 1st Options had been in my mind since I met her last summer so I was delighted that she wanted to be involved.
Not only is she a super cool person but she has such a strong look and brows that would make you wanna die.
Well maybe not die but they're awesome!
Styling-wise I wanted to use pieces from a mix of Irish Designers including Sinead Doyle, John Rocha, Polly McGettigan, Zoe Carol, Ailis Mara and David O'Malley.
I appreciate the work of all of these great minds for different reasons so it was great to mix them up together.
I want to say a huge thank you to all of the designers and Erika from the Powerscourt Design Centre for being so helpful and accommodating.
For the makeup, I had sketched a few ideas on the run up to the shoot but of course on the day I did something completely different.
I went with super natural skin teamed up with a white flicked eyeliner.
For the eyeliner I used MAC Chromaline in White and a whole lot of patience.
I really torture myself when it comes to getting liner perfect.
