I don't think I've ever been as excited to see a shoot published as I was with this one.
The shoot was for the third volume of BASH Magazine which is a new Wedding-without-being-too-Weddingey publication owned by Image.
The first two volumes were so beautiful so I was delighted to be involved in the third and get the cover shot.
The shoot took place in Lisnavagh House in Co.Carlow which is the most beautiful location on an amazing estate.
The crew was:

Stylist : Niamh O'Rourke.
Stylist Assistant : Triona Glennon.
Model : Paula.
Hair : David Cashman.
Makeup : Ciara Allen using MAC.

The brief for the makeup look was beautifully natural which is one of my favourite looks to create.
Even though it looks straight forward, a look like this is more difficult to create than any other beauty look in my opinion.
The illusion of a model having next to no makeup on is a very tricky look and you have to be so careful with what products you use and how much you apply.
The photo shoot took place back in February back when the weather was really stormy and highly unpredictable.
We also started at 7am and finished at 5:30pm so it was quite a long day as we had the drive back to Dublin afterwards.
All these factors add more pressure to keep the makeup looking as fresh in the first image as it does in the last so you have to be vigilant.
Anyways I strongly recommend picking up this issue as it's packed with all the good stuff.
