Todays feature is all about the very awesome Sarah Jane Wai O'Flynn.
SJ is a Makeup Artist as well as being the front woman in the band Dirty Epics.
I first met SJ about 4 years ago and I've always been drawn to her unique style, her sense of humour and the warmth of her personality.
I have always found her very inspiring as a Makeup Artist but also as an individual.
The problem is whenever I meet her I usually want every item of clothing that she is wearing!!
This girl can do little wrong in my book!

If I was a bird..........I'd love to hover and be carried by the air thermals over a beautiful vast expanse of lush valley on a gloriously blue sky day! Can you tell I need a holiday??!
I dance to the beat of..........a mad woman. I think I work better as a human when I'm really busy.
When I slow down, I get a cold or something annoying like that so I generally run around with a lot of nervous energy trying to look like I'm calm and in control!
I wish I had written..........the bible, the Koran and all the other holy books so I could put in a bit that said, "under no circumstances are you allowed to use your faith as an excuse to kill, take slaves, subjugate women, amass too much wealth, exclude, control, persecute, mutilate..." Probably wouldn't have made any difference though.
I should be..........more focused. I'm in a funny place in my life at the moment. I'm half living in another country, just released an album, working as a make-up artist, training in threading and tinting and expecting puppies in a matter of days (my french bulldog Babette). There are a lot of things to juggle and sometimes I think I fail miserably at them, other times I think I'll be able to manage.....time will tell.
My heart skips a beat when..........I see an item of clothing that I cannot live without. I'm half Chinese and have definitely been passed the shopping gene. I love beautiful design, craftsmanship and colour. I can't understand how people shrug off design, especially clothing, as frivolous when it can be so empowering, inspirational and aspirational to so many.
I always find myself..........frowning! Sadly I tend to frown when I'm thinking of my to do lists. I'm not alone on this one, am I??!!!
The way to my heart is..........to laugh, to eat lots of yummy foods and to know how to have a good time. I like it when people aren't afraid to let go and get a bit loose, trying to be pretty all the time is rather dull! I love cooking and eating out and have made a consistent finding, which is that people of limited palette always tend to be a bit uptight! I like to get stuck into a good night out so if there's mischief in you, we'll get along great.
Beauty is..........not self obsessed.
I love when..........people look in the mirror after I've done their make-up and love what they see. It's a great feeling and although it's not saving lives, I'd like to think that it gives people that extra boost of confidence and grace that they need for that moment.
You know what really grinds my gears?
I have a real distaste for people who try to make other people feel bad about themselves. Bullies I guess you'd call them! Life is hard enough!
I also can't stand it when you order pate and melba toast and they always make the pate portion too big for the two slices of toast you get. So you have to order more and you only need one but they give you two more slices and one goes to waste...now that's a first world problem!
I'm afraid of..........not making the right decisions. Maybe I should get a magic 8 ball!
Love is..........a force of nature!
I look up to..........almost everyone. I'm only 5 foot 1!! I admire innovators and people who stay true to themselves. People who are brave enough to push the boundaries and people who are not afraid to show their weaknesses.
