Advice to my fellow Makeup Artists.


I can honestly say that when I was younger I had no idea what or who I wanted to be.
I was interested in lots of things when I finished school but at the age of 17, I still had no idea how I was supposed to commit to one career/trade for my entire life.
Fast forward 4 years of working different jobs, my boyfriend and I decided to move to Vancouver, Canada for a year.
I became friends with an awesome human, Elizabeth M. Makeup Artist, who at the time was training to become a makeup artist.
That's when something clicked.
I never thought being a Makeup Artist was an option but from then on it's all I wanted to do.
5 years later here I am!


Has it been one of the best things I've ever done?
Definitely.

Has it be been difficult?
It's been a million times harder than I ever thought it would be but that's what makes it worthwhile.



If I went into every single thing I would end up writing a book so I'm going to keep it to the point (as much as I can).
Also I started writing a section about building up your kit when I realised it should be a separate blog altogether because there's so much to it.
That will be coming soon.
