New MAC 30-Pan Eyeshadow Palette

So MAC have gone and done it.

Yes indeedy they've gone and done something pretty darn spectacular.

You know the empty 15-Pan Eyeshadow palettes?

Well I don't know how to put this but they've only gone and doubled it.
Introducing the 30-Pan Eyeshadow palette and boy isn't she a beaut!

So here's the skinny.

 The palette comes in three parts : the part to the right is the main section and the two parts on the left are the inserts.

In total I think it cost around €35 for all three parts (the empty palette aka with no shadows).

Above is the main section and it's empty of either side when you unpack it.
MAC were very thoughtful indeed and even put in a clear plastic divider so things don't get messy.
What total dolls!

This is one of the inserts which literally just clicks down into place and then you just do the same on the other side.
So easy I didn't even have to Google how to put it together!

Here it is all beautifully in place looking like a ride!

So I've kept the left side quite neutral and then the right hand side is where things get really interesting.

Overall, I frickin love it and I'm actually surprised they didn't bring it out sooner.

The only thing I'll say is MAC changed their refillable palettes a while back and I kind of miss the old ones.

The older ones had a little groove at each eyeshadow pan so it was super easy to flip them out.

With the newer ones, it's completely flat so it can be a bit tricky to get them out.
I usually end up digging my nail into the shadows which isn't too good at all.

I suppose in theory you shouldn't have to take them out that often so I think we'll manage.

So the real question is...what do you guys think?
