So remember when you were like 10 and you had those nail transfers that you scratched on to your nails? (that might be lost on any of you 1990's/2000's babies).
Well like any other fads they've come back around again and now it's cool again (so I'm told)!
Bourjois recently brought out these nail transfers and to be honest I put off trying them because I thought I'd hate them.
To me they screamed "too much effort" and I screamed back "I couldn't be arsed!"
To me they screamed "too much effort" and I screamed back "I couldn't be arsed!"
Well now I feel like a bit of a fool because I actually really like them and think they're really cute!
In each pack you get three sheets of characters that vary in size and style.
My personal favourites are the little owls so I decided to try those first.
I suffer from small-nail-syndrome so any of the larger designs were completely lost on me but if you have super long nails or wear falsies, you could give them a go.
So all you do is:
- Paint up your nails and let them dry.
- Cut out the individual character you want to use.
- Pop that bad boy on to your nail face down.
- Blot a wet cotton pad or tissue over it and the design transfers straight on to your nail.
- Done and done.
It literally takes about 7 seconds and you're on to the next one.
Pop a bit of clear polish over the design to set those cutesies in place and you're good to go.
Just so you know I got about two days out of these transfers before they started to come off but maybe if you put an extra layer of clear polish over them they might last a bit longer.
Each pack sells for like €6 and I recommend giving them a try.
Unleash your nails soft side!
