When you feel like letting go........

For as long as I can remember, I've been fascinated with humans and how we interact with each other.
I'm truly inspired by the kindness some show to others.
It warms my heart and gives me a true sense of pride when I see people being nice to each other.
Unfortunately I'm also shocked and disgusted on a daily basis by those who mistreat, bully and torture one another.
You can tell so much about a person by how they treat others.


The power of the human spirit at times seems unbreakable.
It possesses a unique strength that cannot be denied.
But at times we all need help.
We as people instinctively feel the need to hide our problems.
We bury them deep in hope that they will never be found.
In my experience, this only causes them to grow, to multiply and this can have horrific consequences.


So why do we find it so difficult to ask for help?
Why can't we utter the words 'I'm depressed, I'm frightened and I haven’t felt like myself for a long time'.


In life, we all come up against problems.
We all deal with things that in time will make us stronger but at that moment make us question our own existence.
It causes us to ask ourselves questions that should never be asked.

Why am I even here?

Am I just a burden to my friends and family?


Let me tell you that you couldn't be more wrong.
Hear this- you have such beauty inside that you are blind to.
You have courage and strength that you have no idea is even there.
How you are feeling is temporary and won't last forever.
You are someone’s soul mate and they're out there searching for you right now.


Life has a funny way of knocking you down every now and again.
But the whole point of falling down is learning how to pick yourself back up.


“When two broken spirits meet, they complete each other.
When two injured hearts collide, they are then made whole.”
 

Life teaches you lessons that at the time you won't understand but trust me, it's worth the struggle.
