MAC Studio Fix Powder Compact

Well today's blog will let you in on one of my little makeup secrets.
Introducing the Studio Fix Compact from MAC Cosmetics.

I was first introduced to this product about a year ago by Makeup Artist Zoe Clark.
She swears by this product and from using it regularly, I can totally understand why.
This compact is a powder foundation which has many uses but I mainly use it for touch-ups.

Let me set the scene:

-You are doing makeup for a photoshoot.
You have spent the last hour creating a beautiful makeup look on your model.
You have powdered the foundation and she's ready to go out to the Photographer.
Through no fault of her own, she accidentally rubs her nose (models are only human and never forget that).
So what do you do?

Options:

-Apply more liquid foundation?
Not a good idea once you have applied powder over the original foundation because it won't sit right.

-Take off the foundation and start over?
On a shoot, it's pretty rare you would have enough time to do this and it's such a hassle.

Solution?

Simply apply MAC Studio Fix  powder foundation over the area where you need it.
As it's a powder foundation, it will sit perfectly over the powder you have already applied.
Most people use the sponge that comes with this product to apply it but I like to use a concealer or a fluffy eyeshadow brush.
I would definitely recommend this product for makeup artists but it's also a great product for touching up your makeup during the day.
This product sells for just over €35 which is good value in my opinion.
Once you don't drop it, you should have it for a really long time.
