So last week was full of all of the fun stuff so I thought a blog post was in order.
Here's what I've been up to.
Dogs Aid!
This is Bud who is the happiest dog ever and is available for adoption from Dogs Aid.
I've been volunteering with Dogs Aid since December and I try to get up there once a week to help out.
I first found Dogs Aid when my boyfriend and I found a lost dog on a Friday night that was running in front of traffic.
The dog was obviously someones pet that had just gotten lost.
We spent four hours trying to find someone to help us and to take the dog for the night because we had nowhere to bring it.
We were told because it was out of hours basically it was our own problem and one organisation actually told us to "let the dog go and it might find it's way".
Total bull!
Maggie in Dogs Aid was the only person who offered to help us and she took the dog for the night.
We also found the owner of the dog the next day so it all worked out!
All he wants to do is play fetch!
Dogs Aid are an Independently owned charity that help to rehome abandoned, surrendered and abused dogs and cats.
They also keep elderly dogs that are known as their "Forever Dogs" that spend the rest of their lives happy and well looked after in the sanctuary.
Kimmie has an interesting smile but this is her having her belly rubbed!
Lucy just wants to play fetch all day every day!
Minnie taking a quiet moment and having her head scratched!
Dogs Aid had a fundraising Dog Parade in St.Annes Park yesterday and some of the dogs needed a ride back to the sanctuary afterwards.
Star decided to hitch a lift in the back of my car and she was the most pleasant passenger.
Star is a beautiful Japanese Samoyed with a really gentle nature and I LOVE HER!

Makeup News!
Last week I placed an order through eBay for some new powder puffs(you can never have enough).
So this morning these little beauts just arrived and for €5, I personally think I did pretty good!
There's no point in spending alot of money on basic things like powder puffs, sponges or disposable mascara wands so make sure you shop around for the best price and don't get ripped off.
MAC invited me for a demonstration to run through their entire range which left me with a long shopping list of all the things I want for my kit (and for myself).
I use a fair amount of MAC products but I would be quite ignorant to their skincare range so I got a thorough run through which was great!
WANT WANT WANT!
I was also quite excited when I saw the selection of disposable mascara wands that MAC Artists use on counter for their clients.
They literally had like 8 different types of wands that they can use to apply mascara and I wanted them all!
Wand envy for sure!
Clean living!
I take my food very seriously so when I have a weekend off, my love heart and I love going out for breakfast.
The best way to start the day!
This weekend we went to Olive in Skerries for breakfast on Saturday and on Sunday!
The food was that good.
I had their Vegetarian Power Salad which is above and I swear to god it was just beautiful!
It was a mix of a Quinoa salad with a mixture of fresh vegetables and some hummus on the side which is the nicest hummus I've ever had.
It was such a great start to the day and I was literally stuffed for like 6hours!
Olive also do a great selection of fresh juices so we tried the Kale one which was delish!
For both of us to eat until we could eat no more, it cost us less than €25.
Can't wait until next weekend for more Olive goodness.
Just golfing around!
Finally my love heart and I have taken up golfing.
Driving range golfing.
You should see the looks we get from the pro's when we stroll in orange hair, mohawk and tattoos blazing.
Gas.
We take turns shooting so I decided to snap a few shots of his swinging methods.
Think Happy Gilmore mixed with the can-can.
Smooth.
So what did you get up to last week?
C.
