"Peony" Shoot.

Hey guys,

Today I wanted to do a post about one of my most recent photoshoots called "Peony".

The gorgeous model for this shoot was Li-Ann from Distinct Model Management and I swear to god, she's one of the most beautiful things I have ever seen.

The photographer was my good friend Brian McNamara who did an awesome job as usual.
So here they are.

The idea behind the shoot was to create something really soft and beautiful and I think we did just that.

The flower crown is made out of fresh Peony roses and the base is actually a birds nest believe it or not.

I found it empty and abandoned under a tree and it was perfect for what I needed for the base of my flower crown.

Natures pretty awesome isn't it?


Makeup wise I wanted to keep her skin looking super natural.
I used a mixture of liquid and cream highlighters to really give her a beautiful glow.
I used quite a large amount of MAC Lipglass to give her skin and eyes a slightly wet look and I'm really happy with how everything came together.

I think it's one of my favourite beauty shoots to date and I can't wait to work with Li-Ann again.
